T Sumner Smith was founded in 1905 and incorporated into T Sumner Smith Limited (TSS) in 2000. In 2012 there was a change of ownership with new investment, this coincided with the appointment of a new managing director who has grown and complimented the team to provide additional experience and ensure that we are progressive in our ways of working. As a result the average age of our senior management team is 39 years, ranging from age 26 to 49 which combines strength, depth and experience with cutting edge innovation. This experience profile spans generations from graduates at the cutting edge of innovation to directors with in excess of 29 years’ industry knowledge enabling us to provide a “one stop consultancy service” to the infrastructure sector. Clients benefit from our niche sector knowledge, project management, HSEQ, commercial expertise and quantity surveying services. We are regulated by the RICS, are corporate members of the Associate for Project Management and hold ISO9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 accreditations. Additionally, we are accredited by Achilles UVDB and RISQS for a comprehensive range of consultancy services including financial, health and safety, risk management, quantity surveying, project management and asset management.
